Poll Results: Organizations Dip Their Toes in Advanced Analytics Waters

by SCIO Health Analytics in Health Analytics

During a recent Webinar entitled “5 Ways to Use Data for Advanced Analysis,” Eileen Cianciolo, Chief Product Officer at SCIO Health Analytics, explored how healthcare organizations can use advanced analytics to succeed under value-based care models. By using advanced analytics to create a 360-degree view, healthcare organizations can understand their current situation, predict what will happen in the future – and take the actions that will enable them to succeed.

Through real-time online polls delivered during the presentation, audience members provided insight into how their organizations currently are leveraging advanced analytics.

Organizations seem to be using analytics to gain insight into present happenings and future possibilities. However, they have not yet started using analytics for what is, perhaps, its most critical application: creating a plan of action.

Healthcare organizations are turning to socio-economic data to gain additional insight about patients and members. However, it appears as if they are not yet fully leveraging this data – as none of the respondents reported using socio-economic intelligence to better engage with patients and members.

These poll results offer insights into how healthcare organizations are currently are leveraging advanced analytics. How is your organization leveraging advanced analytics to succeed under value-based care models?
